Baar Baar Dekho
Debutant director Nitya Mehra's Baar Baar Dekho is released this Friday.
After watching a trailer and seeing production house of Farhan Akhtar, I was pretty excited about this one.
This film follows a roller coaster ride with Jai and Diya as they ride the ups and down of their relationship through the test of time.
This movie has Sri Rao’s unique storyline dealing with time traveling Fantasy which moves with the speed of snail in second half. And the problem of this remains as the biggest. It makes you yawn in few portions but it soon recovers as the director manages to get it back on track.
It also has few scenes which are unnecessarily put in the movie. Despite its flaws and loop holes in the script it manages to feel good after watching it.
Siddharth Malhotra and Katrina kaif pour their souls in this. They have given their best performance in their career. Though they are not perfect, it is a treat to watch them together on screen. Katrina looks really beautiful ๐
Exceptionally, Baar Baar Dekho trusts silences to the talking. It has simple dialogues with the soul of the heart.
Ravi K. Chandran’s cinematography is really special and rich. He captures each and every frame brilliantly.
What to say about music? It is just an amazing with full of variety and perfectly fits in the situation of the movie.
Makeup, costume design and time zones are shown very distinctly.
Baar Baar Dekho is all about getting a chance of changing the mistakes in life without making them. If I’d get chance to correct the mistake in the movie, I will correct some sort of Screenplay for sure.
Though it is not meant for Baar Baar Dekho, but for one time it is worth if you are looking for something different and refreshing.
